Fixed Assets

where the revaluation is listed as separate asset, would it be possible for the FA module to handle 1 asset with its revaluation?

    Hi Ashele

    If I understand you correctly:
If you have only 1 asset in your entire Fixed Assets register, will it be possible to revalue it by going to Fixed Assets | Transactions | Asset Transactions | Revaluation?

The answer is yes. It should be no problem at all.

    Kind Regards

    Bennie

Hi Bennie thanks for the answer, but in my case, we have the Land & Its revaluation listed separately. how will revaluation work going forward considering the client is only moving to sage evolution currently.

    Hi Ashele

The Fixed Assets module allows you to bring in take on balances per asset when you start with your asset register in a new evolution company.

This take on balance represent the accumulated depreciation per asset as at a date that you set in the Defaults screen of Fixed Assets. That means all assets share the same take on date.

But please confirm: Do you still need to import/capture the assets and set it up in the new Evolution company or has this already been done?
