A re install in a different folder fo the one that didn't work before has worked.

For those customers where a re-install did not work, please consider the following:

1. Allow Evolution as an exception on the local anti-virus and Windows Firewall.

2. Uninstall en then re-install Evolution.

3. Check what then happens. 

I'll also ask internally if this error seems to be prevalent or not.

It's one of those queries... We can confirm it was not due to a defect as by far most clients didn't have this error.

To be honest, it really remains a mystery.

Today I have three more customers from Us and One from A BP with this issue again. Some re accuring. 

I can't reinstall to a new folder each time they get this issue. 

I will be creating a SPI case today as we need to work out the cause of this issue.

Hi All, 

I have also had this same issue a few days back where a few clients complained of the Stack Overflow error. 

For some clients, it seemed to resolve itself after some time, and for others I had to reinstall Evolution onto a different folder. 

Today I had 2 clients complain of this error again, and they are currently down and cannot work. 

Please advise.

For Sage Evolution Support this matter still remains a mystery as it's clearly some kind of environmental related error.

We can only speculate perhaps its caused by local anti-virus or Windows updates of some sort...?

Hi there:

I found the solution to stack overflow error and the solution is not to do the re-installation. Remember its related to rtl260.bpl which is either corrupted or does not exist in the database giving an error. Follow below steps:

1. Go to Registry Editor Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sage. Click Edit Find and search for any name related to your database for example my database name is Test.

2. Ensure that you delete anything related to the name Test especially the folders.

3. Go and open sage. Remap again your database by removing and adding again.

4. Problem sorted

What causes it to be corrupted or Missing i don't know.
