My excel report designer returns the following after the latest update from Microsoft 365 on 28 October.
The excel toolbar also does not work.

I noted you're running a 32 BIT MS Office application and I'm just wondering of that may somehow be part of the reason for the above error.
Will it be possible to upgrade to 64 BIT Office? It will anyways be to your advantage

Can you run ODBC on VIP Classic in 64bit with version 6.1a?
That is why I'm on 32bit as ODBC does not work on 64bit!

Sorry, I naturally assumed your query was related to Sage 200 Evolution Sage Intelligence.
But it's actually about VIP Classic, correct?

No it was about Sage 200 Evolution! The only problem is that I cannot go 64bit because of VIP Classic ODBC restrictions!
I updated microsoft 365 this morning and it sorted the problem. I assume there was a bug in the previous update.
