Sales Order Import Utility - not recognizing dates correctly

SUGGESTED

Good day.  I've setup a SO Import using the Utility.

I import from excel.

For some reason the import dates will not accept date format dd/mm/yyyy, even though the server & workstation is set that way.

I had to change the import defaults to dd-mm-yyyy,

I do however now have a frustrating situation.

On the import document, I cannot stipulate dates greater that the 12th of the month or the import fails with the message "does not recognize date format".

Example; if the order date is set to 01-11-2023, the import works.  if set to 13-11-2023 it does not work.

Please help

    Hi Jaco

Please confirm the following so I can have a proper understanding of your query.

    1. Sage Evolution version?

    2. You stated the following above: 'will not accept date format dd/mm/yyyy'

Please elaborate a bit on what you mean. Is there some kind of error message when importing the file or what exactly is happening?

If there is an error message, please paste it into this chat.

    3. On the Data Import Defaults, is the File Settings option set to MS Excel or Delimited Format?

    4. Please test what happens if you change this setting and then import. E.g., it's currently on MS Excel, therefore change it to Delimited Format, save your import file as a CSV file, and close it. Then import and check what happens.

    5. What is the current Short Date format used on the local PC's Control Panel | Region | Regional Settings | Short Date Format?

    6. Have you ensured the Short Date Format on the import file is exactly the same as in 5. above?

    Kind Regards

    Bennie
