Can you please provide a bit of background here?
Do you already have many segmented inventory items that you processed GRV's, Invoices, etc?
If yes, is it simply a case of only using standard items (non-segments): Creating the new items, and adding quantities in a stock take, etc?

I trust you are well.
Segmented inventory was activated through the GUI, but never used, so there are empty tables in the database.
No transactions have ever been performed on segmented inventory.

Is it bothering you that there are empty tables in the database, although no negative/adverse impact on the front end of the Evolution company? I assume in the STKITEM table, correct?
Or is there any negative impact on the front-end users at all?

That is correct. There is no negative effect on the system as far as I can tell. It is simply bothering me that the function is deactivated, but the tables remain in the database. Perhaps it is my OCD.

To be honest, I have no idea how to safely remove thse extra columns in the STKITM table.
But I think if you log this query with Evolution Support, a consultant can then formally investigate and get back to you with an answer.
