Hello
I captured several transaction using the wrong exchange rate and posted in the safe. After noticing the error, I then captured the correct exchange rate. Can a general ledger relink recalculate the balances using the correct exchange rate?

Good Morning Ntombozodwa
The only way to correct an incorrectly captured transaction is to do the following:
1. Reverse the transaction with a second transaction. The second transaction is just the opposite of the original transaction.
2. Capture and process the transaction as it was supposed to be initially.
So, I doubt that a GL Relink will fix the incorrect exchange rate mistake.
But please elaborate also further: Exactly what type of transactions did you capture/process initially?
And how did you then captured the correct exchange rate? Was is on a new transaction?
Please provide as much details as possible.
Kind Regards
Bennie
