Sage Email Timing Out on the server

I have an issue with sending emails on Sage rom the server.

When l test connection it fails on the server it fails.

However when l connect to the same Database using a Workstation am able to test connecting and send emails using the same smtp settings.

What could be the problem with the server that is blocking emails?

    Hi Terence

    There could be various network and other potential constraints blocking the mail coming from the Evolution Server PC.

    Just one thing I can think of is the local anti-virus and Windows Firewall settings on the server, as compared with that of the workstation.

    Are there perhaps any differences in set up that you can identify?
