All good thanks. The issue seems to be a combination of not only number of rows attempting to be returned to Excel from Sage Intelligence, but also the number of columns. Reducing the number of columns allows more rows of data. This is still a limitation, given that if you use a direct query from within Excel, you can get as many records as Excel allows, but when using Sage Intelligence, the volume of data that can be pushed into the Excel workbook is constrained. We have found a way to workaround the issue though. Thank you.

Find below the work around solution that Mathew applied in his case:

'If I can recall, the work around we had was to reduce the columns in the report to the bare minimum and then get the customer to select a shorter date range for the report.

They have since started using Power BI for these type of reports as Sage Intelligence couldn’t handle the volume.'

Please consider the following solution to resolve the above issue:

Please first note that this article assumes you have a back understanding of navigating and using the Sage Intelligence Centre.

1. Within the Evolution company, go to Administration | Connector
2. In here find the relevant Container for the report and open it

3. Find the following section

   --UNION 2 - ST TRANSACTIONS

4. Replace the field for the Quantity from

            Quantity = P.ActualQuantity

            to

            Quantity = P.ActualQuantityInvoiced

5. When done, save the changes
6. Doing this should now return the expected and correct quantities when rerunning the report

Yes, indeed you would need the  advanced Sage Intelligence module to accomplish it as you need to have access to the SI Connector.
