In response to the three ETI issues identified on V22.3.1.2,a patch file has been released to resolve and fix :

1.1 Negative ETI Remuneration
When an employee has a negative net pay for a pay period, and some of the payroll definitions were included in the ETI Remuneration Reduction Definitions, a negative ETI remuneration total was calculated, preventing the user to save the payslip.
A change was made to stop the ETI Remuneration Total to calculate to zero and not entering a negative

1.2 ETI Remuneration Reduction Definitions
If a deduction definition is removed from the ETI Remuneration Reduction Definitions list, the employees’ payslip detail tax totals did not recalculate to remove the amount from the ETI Reduction. This was corrected.

In addition, when manual adjustments were made on the payslip detail, the tax totals did not recalculate to reflect these changes for deductions in the amount column. This was corrected.

1.3 ETI Remuneration – Taxable Company Contributions
The ETI Remuneration calculation included Taxable Company Contributions. Only taxable earnings must be included in the calculation.

The taxable company contributions were removed from the calculation.

Solution 

1. Extract and replace the file in \Sage\Sage300People\People directory

Important :The patch is only compatible with release 22.1.3.2,the permanent fix will be available in the next release.
