This is possible, you will just need to ensure that the pay out rate is setup on the leave policy for the specific leave definition.

Before making any changes on the leave policy, ensure the earning type on the specific earning definition used for the payout is set to Normal Leave Pay and the definition is loaded on all the employees Payslip Definition screen.

To make the changes on the leave policy.

On the Navigation pane

Expand:             Company Management

Expand:             Leave

Double click on: Policies

Under Policies, double click on the specific leave policy you want to make the change on. Once in the Leave Policy Detail screen, on the right side of the screen under Leave Type, select the Leave definition then on the left side of the screen under Linked Definition Items, on the leave definition, tick  Payout Leave. Under Normal Payout Definition, click on the drop down list and select the earning definition and thereafter under Normal Payout Rate, from the drop down list select BCEA Variable Rate, save the change's and then process a recalculation in all the affected company rules.

Further to the above, you will need to provide Administrative Privileges to at least one of the approvers on the Process Definition in order for the approver to select the pay out rate type.

On the Navigation Pane:

Expand: Self Service

Expand: Setup

Double Click on: Process Definition

once in the process definition linking screen, select the applicable Process Definition, thereafter at the bottom of the screen under Step Definition tick Administrative Privileges on the applicable step and then save.

you are very well explained above steps. i have done all steps. but in WSS we suppose to apply like Cliam Tuye?

after approving it is not refelecting in Payslip. I dont know what to do further, please help.
