The proposed amendments to the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and the Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA) that were passed by the National Assembly, provide for the following leave entitlements and benefits:

• Paternal Leave
• Adoption Leave
• Commissioning Paternal Leave

However, these are only proposed changes and are not yet law. We will communicate on how to apply these changes on the payroll system when necessary.
