Please see solution below if you get the following error when accessing People.

The solution is the following:

Go to the database that you had backed up - then:

Expand              Security

Select                 Profiles

Select                 Local Directory

You will notice the Password Reuse Cycle is set at 99999 as below:

You need to change it to 999 because the 99999 x 90 results in a date that does not exist in SQL
