Hi,
We want to open the option for people to change their banking details through WebSS. In the manual the screen on ESS as the option to attach supporting docs - but our WebESS does not. Where do I add this option so that it reflects on WebSS
Good day ,
The personal details need to be activated in the Sage 300 People System .
Please follow the steps below :
Sage 300 People
Activate Bank Details and Personal Details on Web Self Service.
The system allows you to specify if an employee/direct reports to manager user can view,
edit or have full access to their bank details, personal details and family member details in WebSS.
Expand Self Service
Expand Setup
Double-click Company Rule Setup
Select Company Rule
Click on Detail
The following options are configurable:
User Settings
• Create Basic Info Workflow Item
• Create Bank Detail Workflow Item
Direct Reports To impersonation settings
• Create Basic Information
• Create Bank Detail
The options are:
None: this option will hide the employee’s bank details in WebSS. This means that the employees/reports to will not be able to view the employee’s bank details.
Read-only: this option will display the employee’s bank details but the employees/reports to will not be able to submit changes.
Full: this option will allow the employees/reports to submit bank account detail changes.
Select the applicable option based on the viewing rights you want to grant to your employees and save,
Thank you
Brian
Thank you Brian.
I was able to activate the option on WebSS for employees to make changes to their banking details and in my workflow this change will go to our payroll department for approval. However, on the screen to make the changes there is NO option to attach a file (like the proof of banking details) - do you perhaps know how to add the option to the banking details screen so that employees can upload a document?
Regards
Nevermind - i was able to sort it out. I just had to make the content level of the process definition a "process" and not a step
