Can terminated employees be removed from Web Self Service Users and how?

Please verify that I will not lose any transactional information by removing / deleting terminated employees from the Web Serlf Service Users.  My understanding is that this only controls the ability to log into ESS.

Secondly, under Web Self Service Users some of the employees are checked under can delete.  Where is this setting controlled by as I am unable to mark recent terminations and delete them.

Any guidance will be much appreciated.  Jolene

    Good day Jwilesmith,

    Thank you for your support post.

    It is unfortunately not possible to delete Users from Self Service.  You will only be able to Mark them as "Inactive" in order for them to no longer login to their Self Service profile.

    You can implement the employees being "Inactive" by going to Security > Users > Double click on the User in question.  On the Details screen, in the Status field at the top left hand side, click on the Status dropdown and select "Inactive".

    The Can Delete option shows whether the person can be deleted or not.  So if a User has never logged onto WebESS before, the Can Delete will be ticked and therefore this user can be deleted.
