Cors Error - ‘access-control-allow-origin’ missing - IIS 10

Question

Has anyone came across this error after deploying ESS to be accessed externally(outside the host network)? 
 The server is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform running windows server 2019 and iis 10 and fitted with a valid SSL cert. 
 Tried enabling/creating the headers on IIS but the error still shows up.
