Hi 

A Sage Technical Consultant has assisted in this matter. I logged into the Sage 300 People application using the PeopleSupport user and password, reset my own user's password. 

The clients' application is setup using the Active Directory profile - so on each user' screen, the Active Directory Third Party String field is populated which affected my login attempt and essentially made my user inactive.
