Description

When launching Sage 300 Cloud returns error "The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140.dll was not found"

Cause

Microsoft Windows Operating System is missing required version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Since release Sage 300 2018, program uses Microsoft Visual C++ version 2015, 2017 and 2019 (x86 redistributable) release. If programs are missing, download from Microsoft download site.

Resolution

Prior to installation of Sage 300, ensure Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version 2015 and 2017 x86 are installed. Download from Microsoft's web site.

Note: make sure to download and install vc_redist.x86.exe
