Are you aware that your Fiscal Period locking system does not work? The only module that successfully stop a user from posting to a locked period is the GL.

I have been made aware by numerous clients that you can post in other modules even when the Period is locked, this happen even on the "latest" 2021 version.  To my dismay I have defended SAGE 300 software that it does prevent users from posting, just to sit with egg on my face when testing it in front of clients and seeing that all the modules (OE, PO, AR, AP, IC) gives a warning but allow the user to still post the batch/transaction without giving an Error batch.  Only the GL creates an error batch and will not allow the posting if the period is locked.

Please update the system to stop users completely from posting a document if the period is locked.
