A holding company which used to maintain two companies that were licensed separately has just decided made a decision to maintain one license and will be creating two company databases. This means that the two companies that used to have two separate SITE folder will now be using one folder.

Can anyone let me know how to merge the two companies such that all security information from original companies is still maintained - i.e. access rights etc.? I am thinking of exporting Users, User Authorizations and Security Groups and edit the CompanyID field accordingly in all tables to reflect the new System Database ID. Otherwise let me know if there is an easy way to do this migration and merger.
