Status 2 Error

Hi, I have received a Status 2 error (Disk i/o error) File (ACCOI.DAT).  Tried rebuilding via Pastel and Pervasive,  received a critical error 2 on Pastel rebuild and an error on PV rebuild.  Please can you tell me if this file can be overwritten.

    Thank you for your question.

    Regrettably the accoi.dat file is not a file that you can overwrite. This file hold all your open item information and overwriting this file can result in your statements and age analysis not displaying information correctly.

    It would be better to restore a working backup and recapture any missing transactions.
