Good day Maps, Thank you for the Information regarding the Point of Sale Installation. Looks like all the SQL and Pastel Software is installed on the Server and only the POS software is installed on the Till Equipment. Looks like you can also install the POS on a Laptop and use a cash draw and Scanners with Till Slip Printer? Do you have any information regarding the loading up and creating a list of sale that you do at the shop? This is my first time working with the POS system do you know of any other Documentation or Manuals I can read. Must the Till Computer be connected to the Server all the time?

That is correct, SQL and Pastel are installed on the server and only POS is installed on the till machines. You can also connect a cash drawer, a scanner, a pole display and a till slip printer to the POS machines.

The POS machines must always be connected to server in order to access the stock and some settings in Pastel Accounting.

For all the information you need on POS from setup to processing, refer to chapter 8 of the manual which is in Pastel Accounting under Help | Documentation | Manual (PDF).
