If it is happening on the server only, and for any user logging into the company, please check the regional settings on the server as per the below article on our knowledge base?  It is for a different error, but the steps to follow are the exact same.

The decimal/thousand separators for number and currency formats are not the same

If this still does not resolve the issue, you will have to send the data in so we can do a datafix for you.  Please send an email with your customer number to [email protected] and we will assist in getting the fix done.

You can also check the following if you can login with any Supervisor user:

Go to Setup... Users/Passwords

Select the user and at the bottom, under Auto Invoke, select Navigator and click OK

Ask the user to login to the company again

They should be able to login.

Hi All sorry for taking long to reply.

I tried all the methods above and I didn't succeed, I'm confused now if it is Userwise or not. The number of user having the issue increased for 2, however, I tested the user in another machine he logged in successfully, I tested another user in the faulty machine he also managed to loggin.

Another instance it appears is when the said user wants to see Trial Balance, or run the Data Integrity check.

Runtime Error 6 Overflow.

I'm not solved yet.

Yes! The user can loggin but cannot open Trial Balance or check data Integrity, it gives the error. Runtime Error 6 Overflow then Pastel Closes

I created another user with supervisor role with Explorer and Auto refresh turned on, I managed to log in, got the error only when trying to do the Data Integrity check, however, when I turned the Auto Invoke setting I got the error Again when refreshing the data.

Thank you for the response

It seems that one of the masterfile accounts in Pastel might have a problem.

In this case, we will need to get a backup of the data to investigate what is happening and causing the error.

Please send an email to [email protected] with Runtime Error 6 on Integrity as the subject?

I will then pick it up from our system and assist further from there.
