If a cashbook has transactions processed to it, the ledger account linked to that account cannot be deleted.

If there are no transactions processed at all, you can follow the steps in the knowledge base article How do I remove Cash Book with no transactions

Once you have removed the cashbook, you can go to Edit... General Ledger... Accounts and delete the general ledger account.

Regarding the recurring batch query:

A user can only have one recurring batch per processing screen.

How can i delete general ledger which has no transaction on last year and current year but had transactions on the year before last year.
