Importing CSV - Inventory Journal normal batch

Good day,

I am trying to import a normal batch inventory journal and get the following error:

"The supplier control account must be set up before creating individual supplier accounts. You do this in the Setup...suppliers...control..." (Can't see the rest)

How do I correct this? My inventory journal has NOTHING to do with suppliers? Not even using supplier accounts when writing the journal.

I even write a journal in pastel, export it to get the format and then complete it in the same format before attempting to import. Still getting the same error?

    Hi Heynieke,

    Please create the control account to be able to import the file.  Some of the control accounts are needed on the system to have smooth processing.   All control accounts must be existing in the companies even if they are not used.

    Please create the supplier control account (Edit – General Ledger).  Check the demo for an example of which financial category to use.

    Once the above is complete, go to Setup – Suppliers- Control – configuration.  On control accounts, select the account created for supplier control and save the changes.

    Supplier control account has been set up and configured? Import still gives the same error?
