To resolve this error, you need to terminate any of these Excel processes manually:

1. Close any Excel workbooks open on your desktop
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and open Task Manager
3. Select the Processes tab
4. Click on the column heading Image Name to sort the processes by name
5. Look for any EXCEL.EXE processes which may appear in the list
6. Select each of these processes, then click End Process
7. Run the report to see if the error is resolved
