Pastel Bank Manager : Import string error

Good day hoping someone can assist.

I was processing my cashbook entries through pastel bank manager - where I import the bank file.

When I tried to import the following month I strarted getting import error on this particular company (Company A). I then opened one of my other companies (Company B) and the bank manager in company B worked perfectly. Went back to the company A and opened the bank manager again the issue still persisted. How do i fix this.

    Thank you for logging your query with us.

    Usually the error is caused by the Windows regional settings not being correct.  

    Please check that the regional settings are correct by following the steps in the knowledge base article below:

    Regional Settings for Sage 50c Pastel Accounting

    Please remember to restart the PC after making changes to these settings

    If the regional settings are correct, and you still get the same error, do the following

    Make a backup of your data

    Close Pastel and browse to the company folder.

    If you are not sure where the company folder is, click on File... Open

    Left click on the company you want to work on

    At the bottom of the open a company screen, it will show the path to the data

    Browse to this folder via Windows

    In the folder, look for the files below

     StatementData.sdf and StatementData.vdb5

    Right click on the first file, and left click on Cut

    Go to the Windows desktop, right click on an open space and left click on Paste

    Do the same for the second file

    Open Pastel again and check if you can import the file?
