Unfortunately both Sage Intelligence and the Business Cloud built-in reports aren't flexible enough for our cash flow forecasting and financial reporting needs, and we really need to be able to pull our data into a third-party reporting tool so we can build our own custom reports. Otherwise, our monthly reports take SO many manual tweaks in Excel to get everything in a more usable format for our Board, and even then, it's not ideal.

So far I've only found a few data analytics tools in the Sage Marketplace that natively connect to Sage and give other reporting options. Beyond those solutions, being able to pull our financial data into Tableau would be the most ideal so we can combine with operational data for dashboards, custom reports, and our impact measurement needs.

The issue I recently ran into is that the only data connector I was able to find for this purpose (CData's connector) works for most Sage applications...except in South Africa where we're located.

Has anyone had success connecting their Sage Business Cloud Accounting (South Africa's version) to a third-party data analytics tool?
