Good day

I am very new to this so please forgive me if my question is silly or not relevant.

I am trying to edit the layout of my invoices so that there is no space between the currency symbol and the figure, which I managed to do with the custom layout designer, however it seems it then override the prior selected currency such that it shows the amount as USD (default) and the custom currency no longer shows. 

As I mentioned before, I am totaly new to this so if anyone can direct me in the correct direction, would really appreciate.
