Custom Layout Design not changing on Sage itself

Question

Hello, I have edited my customer statement page on the Custom Layout Designer and I have saved the new design and I have gone to my company settings and chose the new layout/design as the default for the customer statements but when I go to check the statement's nothing has changed as per my design changes? Please help. I have tried everything that I can think of! The change I want is so simple and this is so frustrating. PS I have edited my entire Tax Invoice and Credit note layout a couple years ago and it worked like a charm, today it just isn't. Thanks

 The default must be set for each customer as well, this can be done in bulk. 
 Please go to your list of Customers 
 Select all Customers 
 Click on Update 
 Select Statement layout 
 Choose the required Statement Layout 
 Click on Update
