The President of South Africa has officially declared the 29th of May 2024 as a public holiday through Proclamation Notice 157 of 2024. As a Pastel Payroll User, you have two choices to include this public holiday in your calendar:

1. You can follow the steps outlined in our knowledgebase article "How do I add a Public Holiday" to manually add the holiday.

2. Alternatively, you can simply wait for the next release: Update 1 2025, which will automatically include the 29th of May as a public holiday.
