No mistake was made, the 2019 Update 3c update is no longer available for download.  You can do your Year End procedure on 2020 update 1.  I do however suggest that you don't run the legislative release until you are in Year End.  You will also have to re-run the legislative release when you are in March to activate the new tax brackets.

Thanks for the reply.  I am unable to open any of my companies though, as it gives me the following message:  "Your product has not been updated to the latest legislative tables and has reverted to View Only mode... etc." So how would I go about completing the year end procedure if I'm not able to work in any of my companies?

Click on Ok on the message and the company will open as per usual.  As soon as you get into the March Period, run a legislative release and it will stop the message popping up.

I'm still not able to do a Pay period update?

Also, I see in the one company, that I'm not in "year end" but still in Feb 2019, but I'm unable to roll over into year end due to the View Only mode....  How would I be able to roll over into year end mode? 

Apologies.  I must seem incompetent to you, but this year end came extremely quick, and I was not prepared at all due to too much other responsibilities...

I can assure you that you do not look incompetent  I am sure that a lot of people that is out there that have the same issue, and by you supplying us with all this information it makes it easier for them to also understand what might be happening on their system.

When you check on the bottom of your screen in Payroll, what is your expiry date?

The expiry date is 2020/01/31... 

That't great - so that isn't causing the view only mode.

I want you to do this.  Click on File, and then click on Backup, make a backup to your directory of choice.

After the backup is completed see what happens when you try and run a legislative release.  If it gives you a message saying you don't have the correct tax tables, then your tax files haven't installed correctly.

Let me know what it says so I can further advise.

I'm still not able to run the legislative release... it's still greyed out... 

Ok, so the tax files haven't completely installed, do the following:

1. Close Payroll
2. Go to C:\Payroll\Custom
3. Rename the Country folder to "Country.old"
4. Open Control Panel
5. Open Programs and features
6. Scroll down and right click on Pastel Payroll 2020 Update 1
7. Click Change
8. Run through wizard and select to "Repair"
9. When ask about using dependencies, click NO
10. Let the installation complete and then go back to Payroll and try to run the legislative release
