Thank you however it doesn't answer my question.  I am asking about the format of the actual file, not the contents.

As in how should the date be put on the file etc.

I am truly sad to say that we can't answer your question.  As per the article Jamie referred to you, the labour department has not released an officially gazetted spec - and due to this, your question and so many other questions remain unanswered. 

This is also one of the main reasons why we can not comment on if the CSV is something that can be incorporated in app - we don't know the exact specifications and therefore we don't know if we can at this point create a file like this.

If I where to google DD/MMM/YYYY then I am advised that the format should be: 20/Mar/2020.  I urge you to please contact the labour department regarding your questions.

I have asked them - but I am sure you already know that it might take weeks for them to answer. 

Hopefully, as time goes by someone will have an answer and we can then take it from ther.e

As soon as we have more clarity on the CSV issue we post something on Sage City.  We know that this is an urgent matter and we would like to help as many of our clients as possible - however, unfortunately at this stage there just isn't enough information to give us the answers we need.

I hope we have more clarity soon! 

Can I ask how you extracted the csv file from Pastel Payroll?
