Processing UIF TERS Benefit for April and May

Hi,

I've received my rejected employees UIF TERS Benefit for April today, but I am in the May pay period and have already processed salaries for May.

In my April pay period I used a Special run to pay my employees the UIF TERS benefit that was received for April, because we received the claim after we've paid salaries for April.

My questions is, we claimed UIF TERS again for the month of May, how will I process these employees UIF benefit for April in my May period and the UIF benefit for May in my May period when I receive the claim for May.

Basically these employees will have a double TERS payment in May...

    Thank you for your post.

    In the May period you can also process a special run for any payments for TERS that need to be paid after salaries. Unfortunately you can only have one special run per period and it will need to be a business decision how the May TERS benefits need to be paid if received within this month.

    The alternative is to process as  the first special run in the new period in June and salaries for June a second run. 

    The TERS benefits seem to overlap into the new month,so the solution is to pay in in arrears in the new month.
