Transfering Employee from one Company to Another - ESS

Hello,

Is it possible for employees to maintain their ESS account when transferring staff from one company to another. Do I need to relink the staff if the company has been changed?

Also, please who do we make recommendations for payroll legislative updates in Nigeria?

    Good day Akin 

    Thank you for your post,

    When an employee has been moved from one company to a new company the employee's old masterfile  would need to be terminated and their old masterfile will cease to exist.

    In Self-service all employees have a unique GUID, username and password.When the employee is transferred to the new company they will get a new GUID, username and password and the relink will not be possible. 

    Kindly follow the step by step guide for a  Legislative update. , the Nigeria tax files are available.

    Would the employee still be access previous payslip information once the new GUID is issued?

    Also, I already understand the legislative update process. My question was that I would like to make some recommendations concerning legislative updates for Sage Pastel Payroll in Nigeria. The finance Act legislations released in February 2020 have not been updated on the software. Please how do I recommend the changes?

    Thank you for your post,

    The employee can only access the old payslip with his old username and password in the old company and can access payslips for the new company with their new profile.

    Please forward us the changes or recommendations for the Nigeria payroll to our international support e-mail address on [email protected] and we will follow up with our Compliance department.

    A follow up to my previous question: would the employee still be able to access his old account even after the employer stops paying for the old company's count?

    Thank you for your post,

    The employee can only access the old payslip with his old username and password in the old company and can access payslips for the new company with their new profile. The employee will only access information on their old profile until the transfer.

    No new information will be uploaded or synchronize on the old company as he employee has ceased to exist on the old company.
