Year-end Run-time Error 76

Good day

We ran this by SAGE support and they gave us the error75 KB. So we checked permissions and share permissions. But we still get Error 76. It keeps saying Path not found. So I scour the web for the elusive error 76. It comes down to permissions from which I cannot see the issue. It has been fine.

All I can see it is during the "copy company" process. We have the latest Payroll running on server 2016. Permissions are correct and correctly applied. The Year-end happens in sole access mode.

Any insight will be nice. We are stuck.

    Yes, error 76 is permissions, so you can check if user has full rights to the payroll folder ,check if there are any zip files/backups within the directory that the copy company is been made (cut these out)

    The Pastel payroll can can also be run as Administrator from the Payroll icon .

    Right-click on icon > Properties > Compatibility tab > Run as Administrator.

    The user logged in is an Admin and permissions are set correctly as stated in my initial question. We will try the "Run As" option and revert back.

    We did try that to no avail.

    The work around is to create a new company and then copy from the previous year. That seems to work. But not when doing the Year End wizard. Also no ZIP files in the company folder.

    So the jury is still out, no solution from SAGE that works yet. We reloaded the Payroll too. Complete uninstall and re-install.
