Parental Leave not pulling through to ESS

Hi

I added Parental Leave onto an Employees File in Payroll. The Days Due shows the correct number of days available.

It has pulled through the Parental Leave line in ESS, but the balance available is showing as 0

Why would this be?

    Please edit the leave transaction that has not updated balances by navigating to Setup > Transactions > look up e.g. 0001 Annual Leave  and add a full-stop at the end of the description and save

    1.Open Task Manager > select the Details tab and End task for SageCSclient.exe 

    2.Navigate to the Payroll folder in the C: drive

    3.Open the payroll folder

    4.Search for a file ESSSync.vdb4 file

    5.Right-click on it and send to compressed zip.

    6.When it is compress zipped

    7.Delete the original file ESSSync.vdb4 file

    8. Start Sage connected services, by typing Start services on the Windows search  

    9.Open Pastel payroll navigate to Process > Self Service > Synchronize

    10.Then navigate to Setup > Self Service > Administrator Profile > Click on Ok

    We would advise after a few minutes , you go back to Process > Self Service > View log to see if anything has update

    Then check the balances on the website.

    I did everything you advised I should do but it hasn't updated ESS

     Still shows 0 balance

    Thank you for the backup

    We have sent you the screenshot for the employee's updated leave , but  we followed the procedure that we had given.

    We stopped Sage connected service (Task manager)

    Renamed and zipped the ESSSync.vdb4 file.

    Added the full-stop (.) in the leave's description (you can also add it on the employee's name)

    Started sage connected service

    Re-synchronized (Process >Self service > Synchronized) and updated the Administrator profile (Setup > Self service > Administrator profile)

    The employee's leave has updated 

    Please could you kindly verify or reply and let us know that this solution worked. That would be awesome.
