Hi 

I hope someone can assist me. I received the below exception on the exception report. The employee has however been terminated- so I cannot make changes to their payslip.

How do I fix this exception. 

Negative tax totals detected 4142 SDL Contribution -8.75

Negative tax totals detected 4149 Total tax, SDL and UIF -8.75

    Good day

    Thank you for the email.

    If the employee has been terminated then you cannot correct the incorrect processing of SDL on his payslip.

    What you can do is:

    1. Exclude this employee when creating the IRP5 certificate and create a manual certificate for them in Easyfile or you can do a chargeable datafix with a business partner.
    2. Restore the backup to the period where the employee was terminated, process the correction and then recapture all the periods in between.
    3. You can contact your business partner in order to get a chargeable datafix done.
