ESS not syncing

Hello,

I tried downloading the latest Sage Connected Services 2.3.0. However, it keeps providing an error. Please can you assist to crosscheck this?

My client has changed their leave balances on Pastel Payroll. However, on ESS, the old balances are still showing on all the employee profiles. Please how can this be updated?

Also, terminated staff on pastel payroll are not updated in ESS. Please can this process be automated?

    Kindly advise what is the error when installing the Sage Connected Services, because the synchronization process will need the sage connected service to update.

    If you have managed to install the sage connected services but the process to synchronize has not updated the changes , you can follow the steps  below;

    1.On the Taskbar , click on the icon tray highlighted in red

    2.Right click on the green flower with a mustard circle.

    3.Choose Options and check if Enable Communication is selected.

    4.If this is not selected, there is no communication between Pastel payroll & the website

     5.Navigate to the Payroll folder in the C: drive

    6.Open the payroll folder

    7.Search for a file ESSSync.vdb4 file

    8.Right-click on it and send to compressed zip.

    9.When it is compress zipped

    10.Delete the original file.

    11.In Pastel payroll  you first need to navigate to Process > Self Service > Synchronize

    12.Then navigate to Setup > Self Service > Administrator Profile > Click on Ok

     We would advise after a few minutes , you go back to Process > Self Service > View log to see if anything has update
