Negative Paye

Good day,

A client has contacted me with Pastel Payroll query where an employee has a negative value for the PAYE for the month, yet the negative amount is not deducting off the payslip. Is this a common problem and if not, what is the fix for this?

Apologies, it should read - the Negative amount is not being added back to the nett salary

Thank you for the post.

A negative PAYE is supposed to be added back/increase the net pay.

Please send an email of this query to [email protected] as we may need to see screenshots of what has been processed.
