Hi
I have a company who is not registered for SDL (nor do they meet the requirements) but I'm receiving an SDL error on the IRP5 exception repot.
Is there a solution to this issue?
Good day Jason L ,
What exactly is the exception?
It might just be the SDL exempt tick that you need to go and check on the Company Parameters screen? But it all depends on what the signature states.
Can you send me the exact exception?

When I do tick the SDL box by company parameters and run the exception report again it says Tax Total 4142 SDL Contribution has a value but SDL is exempt.
Hi Jason L ,
That exception means that there has been SDL processed on some or all of the employees in some or all of the months.
If you print a Monthly Analysis for 7 months for all employees, is the code 9150 on any of the employees with a value? If it is and none of the employees are terminated then you will have to restore back to August and reverse the value for SDL on all of the employees that has a value.
If any of the employees are terminated I advise that you contact your Business Partner to remove the SDL on all the employees all together instead of reversing the values of some employees.
Sage has a guide that can help you with the adjustment:
If you do need a Business Partner to clear out the exception for you, and you don't have one you usually use then you can feel free to contact us.
Let me know if you have any other issues.
