Update 25/01/2021
The issue has now been resolved and users will be able to enter decimal values on the earnings amounts column on the Employee Payslip Information screen.
We do recommend using the Flexi Financial batch import utility.

The following issue has been identified which affect users processing earning amount values input on the Payslip Screen on Payroll Professional:
When entering a financial value which include cents on the Amount column of a Payslip Earning line, the application does not allow you to to enter a decimal point to allow you to enter any cent values.
The issue only occurs on the Earnings tab of the payslip screen, and only when doing direct payslip value input where the value includes cents (thus not making user of Methods of Calculation e.g. overtime or hours worked).
The Sage Product Delivery team has recorded the issue which will be addressed as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
Interim solution suggestion:
If you need to do input on the payslip without making use of input Methods of Calculation, we recommend doing batch input using the Flexi Financial import utility.
The utility allows you to define your payroll input in Excel, and to import the financial values to the payslip screens of all employees included on the import file.
Please refer to the following Sage Knowledgebase article with details on how to create an import layout, and how to import financial values to the payroll

Another option is to enter the value without the cents - when you press enter to save the value on the screen, the value will be save with decimals (.00). You will be able to click on the payslip value again, and amend it by entering the decimal cent values.
