The Minister of Employment and Labour published Government Gazette 44238, increasing the OID earnings threshold to R506 473 per annum with effect from 1 March 2021 (2021/2022 year of assessment).
This change does not affect your Return of Earning submissions for the 2020/2021 year.
The changes to the OID Report (Real number 502) in your live payroll will be included in a future software release (September 2021). The OID Report is an annual report, and should only be printed at the end of the year of assessment.
The OID report for the 2020/2021 assessment year should be printed from your February 2021 Tax Year-end Instance, if you have not generated it before starting the new tax year. Click here for more information.
