The Social Security National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has confirmed that the monthly salary cap for Tier 1 contributions has increased from GHC25 000 to GHC35 000.
This means that the maximum Tier 1 contribution made by both the employee and employer should be 13.5% X GHC35 000 = GHC4 725.
The review takes effect from 1 April 2021.
Ghana SNNIT changes for SBCPP was deployed last night (2021/05/19).
