RESOLVED | UPDATE | Renewal codes generated on the Sage Customer Zone not updating application when launched

The issue has been resolved and renewal codes generated on the Customer Zone will update you subscription again.

When a renewal code is generated on the Customer Zone, the code will update Payroll Professional within 3 minutes with the current license information of your code (registration date, modules, number of employees). 

Take note: User can still use the new Sage Portal going forwards to generate renewal codes.

The Sage Customer Zone allows you to generate a new license code for your payroll.

The license code will include your registration date, number of employees and modules purchased.

We are aware of an issue where the code generated by a customer on the Customer Zone (e.g. with a new registration date) does not update when the application launches.

The issue is currently under investigation to resolve.

Should you require to generate a new code, we recommend on of the following:

  • You can generate a new code on the new Sage Portal.
  • Go to https://portal.sage.co.za/shp in your browser
  • Enter your Site Code, registered email address and password.
  • If you have not accessed the Sage Portal previously, you will need to reset you password. Click here for more details)
  • From the top menu, select My Account, and then Account Management
  • Select Essentials/Classic/Premier/SBCPP Code Generator

    • Click on Generate License Code for a new code

  • You can contact the Sage Renewals to generate a new code on your behalf
  • You can request a Sage consultant via Live Chat to generate a new code on your behalf

Once a new code has been generated, you can launch the payroll again.

Take note, the code generated registration date will be based on the current registration available for your company.
