RESOLVED | Technical issue: Unable to start a new pay period error "Execution Timeout Expired"

The issue has no been resolved and the system is performing as expected - you will be able to retrieve backups and perform a start of new period - please ensure to log out, of your Sage ID, before starting processing, to reinitialize the connection.

The issue has been addressed by our technical teams. If you still encounter this specific issue, please log out of your Sage ID, and log in again to launch your subscription.

Take note: Since the Start of Period process failed, you will be required to retrieve and replace the data with the backup made prior to the Start of New Period.

We are aware of the following issue that have been reported on Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional:

The error message "Execution Timeout Expired" appears when performing a Start of a new Pay Period in your payroll company.

You are not able to continue with the new pay period, due to this error message. The issue appears to only impact some users.

 Our technical teams have identified the cause  and is working on a solution to be implemented as soon as possible.
