RESOLVED | Technical issue: Unable to start a new pay period error "Execution Timeout Expired" and "A timeout occurred" when attempting to log in

Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional is available and performing as expected. Avoiding a reoccurrence is our priority as we closely monitor the service.

Customers are now able to access the system again.

We thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue.

Our technical teams are engaged with our 3rd party vendor AWS to assist with the investigation of the issue preventing users to log in.

We are aware of the following issues that have been reported on Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional:

The error message "Execution Timeout Expired" appears when performing a Start of a new Pay Period in your payroll company (if already logged into the system).

You are not able to continue with the new pay period, due to this error message. 

When trying to log into the system:

Our technical teams have identified the cause  and is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
