The Acting Director-General of Employment and Labour published a general notice (Notice 2314 of 2024)  extending the deadline for the 2023 Return of Earnings (Financial year 2023/2024) submission. 

The notice confirms that  submissions will be opened from 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024, where usually the deadline (as per the legislation) is 31 March.

• Employers will submit their Return of Earnings online to the Compensation fund: https://cfonline.labour.gov.za/ 
• The OID report from your payroll will be generated from you February 2024 payroll, thus will be done from your Tax Year-end Copy System. there are changes to the report which will be included in the Release 6.2a software, available  by the end of the first week of Match 2024.
