I have about 8 companies that I am taking over from a VIP Premier User how Do I add them on my SBCPP system as additional companies
Hello Mncevovo,
If you bought Payroll Professional without migrating from Classic/Premier/Sage 200c VIP, the "upload data" option is not available at this stage. The migration of data has certain requirements.
Will you be able to send our support team your details ([email protected]) including this post and your site code, that we can review your current licence?
We will be able to provide you with a way forward once we reviewed all the details.
Hi Francois
We have the migrate option, but we need to migrate 3 old separate systems, with different site codes, to a single compiled SBCPP system. However, when trying to migrate and selecting the payroll directory, it only picks up the one company from the system that has the same old site code as the new SBCPP system. Please help as their payroll needs to be done
Hi ZanVanOnselen,
In order to migrate data from a Classic/Premier/Sage 200c VIP, system, the data on the other site codes must be extracted into a system with the same version (currently 5.3b) and site code as Payroll Professional.
You will also need to access the companies in order to apply the new site code to each record in the company.
Once this has been done, you will be able to upload the data to SBCPP.
Thank you for the quick response.
How do I apply the new site code to each record of the old company backups restored that has the incorrect original site codes?
You can just access the company once - it writes on access to all the records.
Thank you.
And if companies turned to dormant an migrated, can you or support change the company status on SBCPP from dormant to live?
If the status change, you will need to invite a consultant to change the status, which can be done by a Sage consultant or certified business partner. I would recommend that this is done through the support channels (web form).
Will do. Thank you very much for all your assistance
