Sage self service query

Hi, I have one particular employee whereby his Sage self service screen does not show sick leave balance neither does it give him an option to apply for sick leave. I have 150 other staff that have the option. Can someone assist as to why only this person has a problem.

    Please try to re-upload this employee into SSS. The below steps will guide you on the process:

    Access Payroll
    Self Service > Sage Self Service > Company Setup
    Upload Company & Admin info again (make sure today date reflects)

    Self Service > Sage Self Service > Employee Setup
    Upload the employees (step 3.1 & step 3.2)

    Hi Avril, thanks for the response. I have tried that but it didn't change anything. Do you perhaps have any other suggestions?

    Hi Terence,

    We would expect that all employees in the same payroll company would display the same information, when applying for leave. A few things to check:

    • is the employee in the same payroll company as the other employees, who can see the leave type?
    • Has the employee been flagged as a 5, 6, or 7 day worker, and not all days have been selected on the Leave days screen?
    • does this employee in question have a leave balance on the Leave day screen?
    • On Self Service, did you check that he Leave Type is enabled (under the Admin menu option)

    Should the issue persist, I would recommend to log an online case for the Support team to assist.
