Can somebody please assist.

When an employee leaves the company and he was entitled to the ETI rebate for the company and comes back to the company in 2 or 3 months.  Do you start ETI again for him at Period 1 of 12 or do you carry on from where he left?

    Hello

    Rember that ETI is an incentive that the business will claim from SARS which will reduce the PAYE amount the business needs to pay over to SARS.

    To answer your question, whenever an employee leaves the business, they will be terminated on payroll and when they are re-employed again by the very same business will you add them again with a new employee code.

    This means that the very same employee will be treated like a new employee if they do qualify for ETI ( the calculated ETI amount will show on the EMP201 report).
